Dear all LCX customers,

This letter is regarding the hardest decision I have ever had to make. I am officially closing Lawrence County Extreme LLC. I have many reasons that have forced me to do so and I will do my best to outline those for you briefly.

Over the years it has been a huge financial loss to me to keep the gym open. I completely did so because I loved what I did and I loved teaching your amazing children. Through many many health issues, I am further in debt than I can gamble on, hoping to make any sort of profit on the gym some time soon.

Many people over the years have tried their best to help me with the responsibilities of the gym and I truly appreciate everyone who has helped in any way possible. My health issues have required me to hire people at times to help keep the gym open. I had so much bad luck with people not meeting the requirements needed to help me. That too has been a financial loss. There have been a few particular people who have done an awesome job helping me and I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart. The reality is, I have been let down so many times by people that I honestly have not made a profit from the gym in over 2 years. That is very hard to admit but it is true. Please let that help you understand that this is so hard for me and I have you will have not hard feelings towards me. I am very sorry for the inconvenience of this whole thing.

For any of you that paid in advance for anything cheer program related or for June gymnastics classes, you should have an invoice with this letter and you will receive a check NO Later than August 1st, 2011 as a refund. If you do not understand your invoice please email me from the website and I will explain or fix the problem immediately. Since this only applies to about 5 people, I can assure those who are owed a refund that this will not be a problem. I am a fair person and I will settle with those who are extremely behind. Please email me with any questions. NO REFUND CHECKS WILL BE SENT OUT PAST AUGUST 1ST, 2011! Any unpaid bill as of August 1st, 2011 will go to collections in a civil suit. This mostly applies ONLY to PAST customers. LCX is NOW closed. There will not be any more classes through June.

I would like everyone to know that this decision was not a secret I kept from everyone until the last minute. This has been the reality of what I should have done for myself months ago but just couldn't bring myself to do it until this week. That is 100% because my doctor of 5 years looked me in the eye and told me I'm killing myself trying to keep doing what I love. It's time for my health to come first. The stress of the cheerleading program costing me so much due to lack of payment is just too much stress. LCX will reopen. I love doing nothing more than teaching your children (and mine) and I am truly great at it. After I have my surgeries and finish the last semester needed to complete my double major at Ivy Tech, I will reopen LCX. That is a promise to you all. I am a woman of my word. The gym is not just a hobby for me. The gym being open will always be a part of my life, no matter what other career goals I achieve. Thank you so much for everything and the chance to work with your amazing children. I am so sorry for any inconvience this may cause and if you know me at all, you know how hard this is for me.
